Pau 1563 – 1572 Engraver [EN] Il Forrer (1902-30, I, p. 299) riporta: to him may be attributed the Écus d'or, Testons, and Half-testons of Jeanne d'Albret, 1564-1566, and the Testons struck at Pau, from 1568 to 1572. As Guillaume Martin occupied the post of Engraver-general to the Queen of Navarre, it is possible that Brucher, or Bruchier, as his name sometimes occurs, only worked from the designs of his superior, or copied his dies.
