Il Forrer (1902-30, I, p. 315) riporta: He signed the Saxon coins until 1873. His initials appear in 1872 on the currency of Mecklenburg-Schwerin and Mecklenburg-Strelitz. In 1883 he was still in office. One of the finest coins he engraved is the Saxon Peace Thaler of 1871, with bust of King on obv. and horseman on R/.
